Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Jonathan Gordon
A Florida native, Dr. Gordon earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2008. He has called the Yulee and Fernandina Beach community home since 2013.
Dedicated to growth and innovation, Dr. Gordon is CEREC and Invisalign certified and stays at the forefront of dentistry through continuing education. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Journal of Implantology. Beyond the office, he volunteers with the Baptist Dental Bus to serve those in need.
For Dr. Gordon, dentistry is the perfect blend of art and science. He’s passionate about using his skills to transform smiles and believes improving someone’s oral health can truly change their life. His philosophy is simple: treat every patient with the respect, care, and attention they deserve.
Dr. Gordon stays busy enjoying the outdoors, spending time with his wife, three sons, and of course their two dogs. He also likes to stay fit and travel. Dr. Gordon enjoys competing in obstacle course races all over the U.S. throughout the year, along with visiting national parks for hiking.
Dr. Cole Washington
Dr. Cole Washington provides comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, with a focus on comfort, precision, and long-term health. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Following dental school, he expanded his expertise through a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he trained extensively across multiple specialties.
Dr. Washington’s advanced training allows him to serve patients in preventive and restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. He is also certified in IV sedation, offering a safe and supportive option for patients with dental anxiety. His goal is always the same: to help patients feel at ease while achieving their healthiest, most confident smile.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Washington comes from a family deeply rooted in community service through the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. He met his wife, Beth, during dental school, and together they enjoy life with their golden doodle, Bee, who loves swimming and boat rides. In January 2024, they welcomed their first son, Benjamin. Outside the office, Dr. Washington enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Now back in North Florida, Dr. Washington is proud to care for patients in the community he calls home and is currently welcoming new patients.
Our Specialists
Audrey Clements – Office Manager
Audrey has been part of Yulee Family Dentistry since 1999 and brings decades of experience to her role as Office Manager. Originally from Ocala, she began her career in dentistry as a high school dental assistant and quickly advanced into leadership roles at the front desk and management. She holds FAADOM, MAADOM, and DAADOM distinctions through the American Association of Dental Office Managers and serves as Co-President of the local DPLN Chapter, where she continues to grow and support the dental community.Outside the office, Audrey enjoys family time with her husband, son, and granddaughter, as well as adventures with their Labradoodle, Koko. Whether boating, camping, or exploring trails with her local Jeep club, she values the balance of work, family, and fun.
Jinny Holton – Front Desk/Receptionist
Jinny brings more than 13 years of experience in family dentistry to Yulee Family Dentistry, where she joined the team in 2024. With a background as a Patient Care Coordinator, she’s known for greeting every patient with a warm smile and positive energy that helps set the tone for a comfortable visit.
Outside the office, Jinny enjoys life with her husband, their two children, and four fur babies. She loves spending time outdoors; whether camping, off-road riding, or traveling, and values every opportunity to connect with family and friends.
Brandy Ferguson - Treatment Coordinator
Brandy began her career in dentistry in 2024 after relocating from Georgia and joined Yulee Family Dentistry in 2025. With more than 20 years of experience in the medical field, she brings a strong background in patient care and a genuine passion for helping people feel comfortable and understood. For Brandy, building lasting relationships with patients is one of the most rewarding parts of her role.
When she’s not at work, Brandy enjoys spending time with her husband and their blended family of seven kids. Their household also includes two spoiled fur babies who keep life full of energy and love.
Tayler O’Quinn – Dental Hygienist
Tayler joined Yulee Family Dentistry in 2020 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. She began her career as a dental assistant before pursuing her degree in Dental Hygiene at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Tayler is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles and ensuring every visit is comfortable and supportive.
Outside of work, Tayler enjoys searching for shark teeth, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with her beloved pets.
Jean Cooper, RDH – Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist, it is no surprise that Jean is passionate about oral health and educating our patients on how to stay healthy so they can truly enjoy life!
Originally from Fernandina Beach, Florida, Jean earned her hygiene degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2006. She also earned certification to administer local anesthesia in 2014 at the University of Florida. Jean has been with us for 17 years and has a great relationship with both patients and the members of our team.
Spending time with family is important. Her two daughters, Darien and Baylee, keep Jean and her husband, Tim, busy. In the summertime, they enjoy camping and outings in their boat.
Faith Douglas, RDH – Dental Hygienist
Faith brings 18 years of experience in dentistry to Yulee Family Dentistry. Her career began in the Army, where she served as a dental assistant and discovered her passion for helping people through oral health. After several years, she returned to school to become a Dental Hygienist and has loved every moment of creating healthier, more confident smiles. Faith’s favorite part of her work is simple yet powerful; helping patients feel cared for and making a difference one smile at a time.
Outside the office, Faith enjoys spending time with her family, riding motocross, practicing jiu-jitsu, and playing poker.
Christine Walkup – Dental Assistant
Originally from Fayetteville, NC, Christine has called Yulee home since 2008. She graduated as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant from Concorde Career Institute in 2019 and has been passionate about dentistry ever since. Christine loves helping patients feel more confident in their smiles and takes pride in making each visit a positive experience.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with her fiancé and son. She also has a love for baking cakes and exploring new places when traveling.
Stacey Gills – Dental Assistant
Stacey, a Fernandina Beach native, joined Yulee Family Dentistry over 20 years ago after graduating from Florida State College School of Dental Assisting. She loves building relationships with patients and supporting them in achieving healthy, beautiful smiles. Stacey’s passion lies in helping people feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way.
Outside of the office, Stacey enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters, Naomi and Sophia. A lifelong animal lover, she also adores her two spoiled dogs.
Ann Higginbotham – Dental Assistant
Ann grew up in North Dakota and earned her Dental Assisting Certificate from Bemidji Technical College. She spent 12 years in Montana while her husband served in the Air Force before they settled in his hometown of Hilliard, FL, in 2012.
Ann values getting to know patients and building relationships that make their dental experience more comfortable. She especially enjoys helping patients overcome fears and anxieties, and finds joy in seeing them feel happy and confident with their smiles.
Outside of work, Ann loves cooking, spending time at the beach, and reading. Family is most important to her, and she often travels back to North Dakota to visit her children and grandchildren. At home, she enjoys life with her two spoiled pups, Stella and Sophie.
Tierny McFeely – Assistant
Tierny began her career in dentistry in 2025, shortly after graduating from high school, and is excited to be building her future as a dental assistant. She is passionate about learning new skills and enjoys growing her knowledge every day at Yulee Family Dentistry. Tierny’s dedication and enthusiasm make her a valuable part of the team as she continues to expand her experience in patient care.
Outside of the office, Tierny often spends time pet sitting and enjoying the water with friends and family. She also adores her spoiled fur baby, who loves being around people as much as she does.
